Executive Team

 

CH2 is led by a dedicated Senior Executive Team, with a broad set of skillsets and experience across the healthcare and logistics industries.

 

David Collins - Chief Executive Officer
David rejoined CH2 as CEO and Managing Director in December 15, after 14 months as Chief Financial Officer at Greencross Health Limited in Auckland. 

David was CEO of CH2 from 2008 to 2014, and CFO from 2005 – 2008, therefore brings unparalleled experience and extensive knowledge of the Australian Hospital and Pharmacy markets to the role. 
Prior to CH2, David held senior finance and management roles in both Australia and New Zealand, predominantly in the pharmaceutical and wholesaling industries. 

David has a Bachelor of Business Studies from the Auckland Institute of Technology, and completed the General Manager Program at the Australian Graduate School of Management.

 

Daniel Levin – General Manager Supply Chain & CH2 Logistics
Daniel joined CH2 in 2009 and is a very experienced and passionate supply chain professional. Since commencing at CH2, Daniel has worked across roles in logistics, commerical supplier management and contract manufacturing. The breadth of experieicne Daniel has contributes to his strong leadership, practical and technical skills. Prior to joining CH2 Daniel has held various roles at businesses such as Johnson & Johnson, Erudite Management, Henderson Logistics, Unisys Australia and The Commonwealth Games Corporation.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Business (Transport and Logistics) and also volunteers for Weave Youth & Community Services in the Driving Change Program.

 

Ken Parsons – Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary
Ken commenced with CH2 in January 2010 as Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary.

Ken has significant financial management experience gained through 2 previous Chief Financial Officer roles at KH Foods (ASX listed, where he also became Chief Executive Officer) and RMIT University - both business turnaround roles. He has also held senior financial management roles at Goodman Fielder, Bunge Industrial and Monsanto and he commenced his career at Rio Tinto. He has a Bachelor of Commerce and is CPA qualified.

Ken’s recent industry experience has been orientated around FMCG, manufacturing and education.
 

Carmen Riley - Chief Operating Officer 
Carmen was appointed as General Manager Sales in July 2014, after joining CH2 as General Manager of the Aged and Community Care Division in September 2010. Before joining CH2, Carmen was CEO of Intouch Direct from July 2008, which was successfully acquired by CH2 in 2010.

Prior to joining the Healthcare Industry, Carmen had an extensive career with Woolworths, including Finance, Project Management and Operations Manager for their temperate controlled facility in Queensland.  

Carmen’s experience provides strong financial and operational management skills gained from both private and ASX listed companies. Carmen is a Certified Practising Accountant and has completed the Graduate Program for the Australian Institute of Company Directors (CPA and GAICD).

 

Andrew Woods – General Manager Private Label
Andrew joined CH2 in March of 2008 as part of the acquisition of Cottman Australia, where for over 10 years he held various roles in senior management.

Following the integration of Cottman Australia, Andrew relocated to Brisbane in 2010 as CH2 State Manager QLD. After successfully managing the relocation of the CH2 QLD Distribution Centre, Andrew was appointed to the role of National Manager Hospitals in June 2012.

During his 25 years in the healthcare industry, Andrew has completed the General Manager Program at the Australian School of Management and Leadership Australia (LMA).
 

Ged Halstead – Chief Information Officer
Ged is CH2’s Chief Information Officer. He has over 25 years’ experience implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for a broad range of industries in Australia and the United States.

Ged has spent 12 years in the IT consulting space, principally engaged as a project manager and practice leader. His experience in the Healthcare industry includes delivering solutions for global leading brands in medical devices companies in Australia and overseas, and medical services companies and pharmaceutical manufacturers in Australia and New Zealand.

Ged holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and is a current co-chair of GS1 Healthcare Australia. Ged has also been recently elected to the Board of GS1 Australia, representing the Healthcare sector.

 

Leah Coghlan – Marketing Manager

Leah joined CH2 as Marketing Manager in 2015 with over 15 years’ experience in consumer marketing and a background in services marketing within NGOs. 

Leah has worked extensively in both OTC and FMCG markets; prior to joining CH2 Leah worked as Sales and Marketing Manager in a leading Health and Organic Wholesaler and consulted across FMCG and Pharmacy sectors. 

 

Mike Barnfield - National Quality Manager

Mike has been with CH2 since May 2011, and is responsible for the Quality systems, ISO accreditation, Compliance and licencing across the CH2 Business.

Mike has an extensive background in quality and operational roles across the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Food manufacturing industries.  Previous roles include; Quality System Leader (Carter Holt Harvey), Production Shift Manager (SCA), Production Manager (Goodman Fielder Baking), Health, Safety and Continuous Improvement Manager (Kerry Group). Mike also has board level experience holding a position on the Board of directors for six years in a not for profit organisation (Reconnexions).  

Mike currently holds a Graduate Certificate in Business (Management) with the Australian Institute of Management and a Diploma in OH&S.
